Itinerary
Day 1 - San Jose
Meeting upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica and transfer to the Hotel Grano de Oro for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - San Jose - Tortuguero
Depart San Jose for breakfast at Rancho Roberto’s Restaurant, located in Guápiles. You will then be driven to Caño Blanco, in order to take a boat transfer to the Manatus Hotel. Arrive and enjoy a welcome cocktail, followed by lunch. Tortuguero is a unique place on Earth where you can enjoy nature in it's most alive splendor. Manatus offers a full list of activities and tours specially designed to get to know the best of Tortuguero in a comfortable and safe way. This afternoon a tour of the Tortuguero Canals and then a Village Visit. Dinner at the Manatus Hotel “Ara Macaw” Restaurant. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Manatus Hotel. (b,l,d)
Day 3 - Tortuguero
Today, you can choose from many different activities included in your stay such as canal tours, jungle hikes, turtle watching (in season), kayaking and more. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Manatus Hotel. (b)
Day 4 - Tortuguero - Arenal
Have Breakfast and depart the hotel via boat to Caño Blanco. Continue by land to Guapiles where you will enjoy lunch and then depart to the Arenal area and your hotel. Spend the night at the Tabacon Thermal Resort Spa. (b,l)
Day 5 - Arenal
Today, a half day of adventure. You will soar above the Rainforest Canopy and enjoy a 30 minute horseback ride. Experience 13 platforms reaching up to 130 ft. in height, 9 cables reaching up to 230 ft. high with a maximum length of 1033 ft., 168 ft. long hanging bridge between platforms, and a rappel of 157 ft. Enjoy the afternoon at the hotels Hot Springs or perhaps take a hike to the Volcano. Spend the night at the Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa. (b)
Day 6 - Arenal - Guanacaste
Enjoy breakfast and depart on your 3 1/2 hour transfer to the Guanacaste Peninsula. Arrive at your all-inclusive resort for an overnight stay at the The Westin Golf Resort and Spa, Playa Conchal. (b)
Day 7 and 8 - Guanacaste
Day at leisure at the hotel and overnight stay at The Westin Golf Resort and Spa, Playa Conchal.(b)
Day 9 - Guanacaste - Liberia Airport
Depart your hotel to the Liberia Airport for your home-bound flight. (b)
