Itinerary
Day 1 - San Jose
Meeting upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica and transfer to the Hotel Grano de Oro for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - San Jose - Pacuare
Depart San Jose early in the morning and stop for breakfast before arriving at the Pacuare River put-in. After a safety briefing, your professional guide will lead on you a whitewater adventure into the heart of the rainforest. Before you know it, you'll arrive at the Pacuare Jungle Lodge. Cross your private suspension bridge and lounge in your own personal Jacuzzi. The unparalleled Honeymoon Suite is completely shrouded by the surrounding rainforest creating an idyllic intimate hideaway for newlyweds. Spend an overnight stay at Pacuare Lodge. (b)
Day 3 - Pacuare

Day 4 - Pacuare - Bajos del Toro
After a hearty breakfast and loading the rafts, you'll prepare to paddle down the Pacuare. Your morning will be adrenaline-packed, running Class III rapids. You will then be picked up and transferred to El Silencio Lodge and Spa for overnight, a charming little sanctuary in the cloud forest. This boutique eco-lodge is surrounded by private hiking trails and hidden waterfalls and proudly boasts the Relais and Chateaux, badge of honor for its delectable cuisine. This evening, enjoy a private sunset romantic dinner in the intimacy of the cloud forest. Torches, accent candles, lush greenery, and mouthwatering cuisine set the stage for a storybook setting. Day 5 - Bajos del Toro - Arenal
Breakfast and depart on a scenic 2 hour drive to the Arenal area and your hotel, the Nayara Springs, voted one of the top 5 most romantic resorts in the world,” Nayara is a magical place where the rainforest meets the majestic grandeur of the Arenal Volcano. Feel your heart beating faster and sense life moving at a slower pace as you surrender to the seduction of Costa Rica’s rainforest. Your afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the hotels facilities and your surroundings. Tonight enjoy a private romantic dinner. and an overnight stay at Nayara Springs. (b,d)
Day 6 - Arenal
This morning you will depart for the Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour. This beautiful, environmentally friendly project, located near the Arenal Volcano, offers a series of trails that span a total of 2 miles, allowing you to see the rainforest from a bird's perspective! Your naturalist guide will teach you about Costa Rican culture, history, and nature, while pointing out different species of plants, animals and birds along the way. These trails bring you as close as you'd ever hope to see the rainforest and its inhabitants, as well as give you access to see stunning views of the rainforest and mountains that are miles away. End the day with an overnight stay at Nayara Springs. (b)
Day 7 - Arenal - Guanacaste
Have breakfast and depart on your 3 1/2 hour transfer to the Guanacaste Peninsula. En route, you will enjoy a 2 hour floating trip on the Corobici River with a stop for lunch. This tour is an easy ride through the Corobici River on a rubber raft where you will have the opportunity to see the characteristic vegetation of the area as well as interesting wildlife like monkeys, iguanas and wading birds. Arrive at your hotel and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure with an overnight stay at Capitan Suizo. (b,l)
Day 8 - Guanacaste
The day with be spent at leisure to enjoy the pool, beaches and natural surroundings. Tonight, you will have a private romantic candlelight dinner on the beach, your terrace or balcony. to cap the day off enjoy an overnight stay at Capitan Suizo. (b,d)
Day 9 - Guanacaste
Spend another day in paradise to relax or take an optional excursion such as Horseback Riding, Kayaking, Snorkeling or Scuba Diving, ATV Quad Tours. Overnight at Capitan Suizo. (b)
Day 10 - Guanacaste - Liberia
Depart your hotel to the Liberia Airport for your flight. (b)
