Day 3 - Mendoza/ Valle de Uco / Salentein Inn
Depart early for a scenic two-hour drive to Valle de Uco, Mendoza’s high-altitude wine region (1,200–1,400 meters / 4,000–4,660 ft) at the foothills of the Andes. Visit Clos de los Siete, a unique vineyard project created by seven French friends, featuring five completed wineries: Rolland, Diamandes, Cuvellier de los Andes, Flecha de los Andes, and Monteviejo. Begin your day with a guided tour of Bodegas Salentein, a world-class winery renowned for its stunning architecture. The barrel room, laid out in a cross pattern around a mosaic compass rose, evokes the grandeur of a cathedral of wine. After exploring the winery, visit Killka, a spectacular private modern art museum showcasing part of the owner’s exclusive collection. Day 5 - Valle de Uco / Mendoza
After breakfast, depart the Salentein Inn and journey to Andeluna, a historic winery whose name evokes the romance of the Argentine moon illuminating the Andes Mountains that frame the Uco Valley near Tupungato. Explore the vineyards and learn about the winery’s rich history before continuing to Atamisque, a winery uniquely designed around the laws of gravity, allowing the winemaking process to flow naturally without pumps. Enjoy a trout lunch at Rincón Atamisque before being transferred to Mendoza Airport for your departure flight. (b,l)
